YOUR INSTRUCTORS

JONATHAN SMART

Jonathan was standing on the 18th green at Augusta in 2016 when Danny Willett won the Masters. Fourteen years on tour, seven wins, a Ryder Cup, and an Olympics and he's still on the bag every week. That's the level of experience he brings into the room.

CHRIS RICE

Sixteen years. Nine wins. European Tour, PGA Tour, international events across the globe. Chris has seen more tour stops than most caddies will in a lifetime, and he's still going. When he talks about managing a player through a tournament week, it comes from doing it hundreds of times at the highest level.

ADAM MARROW

Adam started out at Queenwood, one of London's most exclusive private clubs, before working his way through the Challenge Tour and onto the European Tour, where he's been caddying for Thomas Pieters since 2015. Ten wins, a Ryder Cup, two Olympics. His career is the path the Intensive exists to open up.

RYAN MCGUIGAN

Ryan has spent 14 years building one of the most respected CVs on the European Tour bag scene, Matteo Manassero, Thomas Detry, Richie Ramsay, Stephen Gallacher. In 2025 he was on Connor Syme's bag when Syme broke through for his first DP World Tour title at the KLM Open. He knows what it takes to get a player over the line.

JAMIE DONALDSON

Jamie has been Europe's Senior AimPoint Instructor since 2009, working directly with AimPoint founder Mark Sweeney. In that time he's taught the method to tour players including Adam Scott, Ian Poulter, and Stacey Lewis, and worked with the victorious 2011 Solheim Cup squad. He is widely regarded as one of the most innovative golf coaches in the UK.

DUNCAN CAREY

Duncan was the analyst in the Team Europe room at the 2016 and 2018 Ryder Cup and the 2017 Solheim Cup, building the data models that shaped how Europe's caddies and players approached each hole. With over 20 years as a PGA Professional and involvement in more than 50 worldwide tour wins, he brings a level of statistical rigour to the Intensive that simply doesn't exist anywhere else in caddie education.

This course is for caddies who are ready to be tested in the field. Whether you've completed the Tour Caddie online course and want to validate your skills on a real course, or you're taking the accelerated route with the full bundle, the Intensive puts you in front of four active DP World Tour caddies, not retired coaches, for three days of direct instruction, expert evaluation, and formal certification.
